MEET JULIA
Master of Family Therapy
Associate Therapist
Hi, I'm Julia
Navigating life in today's world can feel overwhelming, confusing, and sometimes really hard. I work with individuals ages 8 and older, as well as families, who may be navigating anxiety, depression, grief, stress, trauma, neurodiversity, family or relationship challenges, life transitions, or questions about identity and belonging.
In a safe, warm, and welcoming space, I use art, play, somatic practices, and conversation to meet each client where they are and support healing, growth, and a deeper connection with themselves and others. Together, we may work on emotion regulation, problem-solving, navigating difficult experiences, strengthening relationships, and most importantly, developing greater self-compassion.
I believe each person is shaped by their unique relationships, experiences, community, and culture, and I approach every client with respect, curiosity, and compassion. As an attachment-focused, experiential, and person-centered therapist, I also work with families to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and build greater understanding of one another.
The trust clients place in the therapeutic relationship is deeply meaningful to me. I value the opportunity to support them as they better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and move toward meaningful change.
My Education
I earned my Master of Family Therapy (MFT) from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College. I am currently an applicant for Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) licensure in the state of Georgia and work with children (8+), adolescents, adults, and families under the supervision of Terris Hagan, LPC, RPT™, CPCS.
